Bhaskar N. Raju, MD
Founder & CEO
Dr. Bhaskar N. Raju is the visionary founder and CEO of OPA Behavioral Health. A board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry, Dr. Raju established OPA in 2005 with a deeply personal mission: to make high-quality psychiatric care accessible, compassionate, and community-centered throughout Florida.
Under Dr. Raju's leadership, what began as a single practice in Orlando has grown into a comprehensive behavioral health organization serving patients at 12 locations statewide. His commitment to integrating evidence-based treatments with genuine compassion has set the standard for care at OPA, ensuring every patient receives personalized attention in a professional, supportive environment.
Dr. Raju completed his medical education at Sri Venkateswara University in India, followed by a psychiatry residency at Hennepin County Medical Center affiliated with the University of Minnesota, and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Miami's Jackson Memorial Hospital. He is affiliated with AdventHealth Orlando and HCA Florida Osceola Hospital.

Growing patient demand leads to new locations in Kissimmee, Ocoee, and Lake Mary. The team expands to include PMHNPs, APRNs, and licensed therapists to serve a wider range of needs.
TMS Center of Excellence
OPA becomes a recognized NeuroStar TMS Leading Center of Excellence, offering FDA-cleared, non-invasive treatment for major depression and OCD to patients who haven't found relief through medication alone.
Statewide Telehealth
In response to growing demand and evolving healthcare needs, OPA launches statewide telehealth services, making psychiatric care available to patients anywhere in Florida from the comfort of home.

Rebranded to reflect the breadth of services offered, OPA Behavioral Health now operates 12 locations across Florida with over 100 team members. From Jacksonville to Naples, Melbourne to Miami, the organization continues Dr. Raju's vision of accessible, compassionate care for all.
